Sainsbury's

Sainsbury’s has put together a training video to support their colleagues and give them the confidence to communicate with their deaf customers.  It’s a great video and it’s great that Sainsbury’s are making inclusivity a priority.

British Airways

Check out the case study we did when we worked with them on a training video for their customer-facing teams on how best to support deaf customers.

We asked Alison Dalton, Accessibility Manager at British Airways, to share with us how a training requirement for BA frontline colleagues regarding support for deaf customers was identified. And the process they went through to address this by employing the services of terptree.

Read about the support we gave MOOG as they support a deaf employee with a BSL Interpreter at quarterly meetings and training sessions and the challenges that they can face day to day.

We spoke to Oliver Richardson, a field scientist for Thames Water, to find out about the support he needs at work, as well as the challenges he faces.

We spoke to Michael Ford, Clancy’s Regional People Advisor about their need for assistance with a team member who has hearing difficulties.

We spoke to both Mark Wood a Logistics Manager about how we could help them support John, a Ground Worker, who has hearing difficulties. We also spoke to John which gives a unique insight into how the support can help both sides.

Asda

Customers at the St Leonards-on-Sea store love Ben, a deaf employee at Asda for 15 years so much they have started using basic sign language to communicate with him.
