As part of our series introducing you to the members of our team, we sat down for a chat with Sarah, who joined us at the beginning of 2022.
Where are you from?
Monmouthshire, South Wales born and bred. I love my little famous historic home town, it’s so pretty in the summer and it’s full of wonderful old buildings and even a lovely castle to explore.
What have you done in your career until now?
Up until now I have taken roles in admin or customer service but I have worked for various companies from plumbing to prestigious luxury car brands. Now I am at terptree where my role is challenging and fast paced but very rewarding.
What is your proudest achievement?
My proudest achievement has to be my two beautiful children. They are my world.
What did you want to be when you were younger?
When I was younger, I wanted to work with animals. I either wanted to be a vet or an animal welfare officer but life didn’t point me in that direction. To make up for it, over the years I have adopted various animals – ranging from fish to chickens and dogs – to accommodate my love of animals instead.
What are you reading?
I’m currently working my way through the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. At the moment I am reading book six, A Breath of Snow and Ashes – it’s taking a while to get through but I’m getting there!
What surprises people about you?
I’m fascinated with paranormal things and witchcraft and I’m very superstitious!
What’s your favourite quote?
“Happiness can be found in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light”
– ALBUS DUMBLEDORE
Even though it’s from a book/film, it has reminded me to always look for the positives even when you are in the darkest of places.
