Deaf Awareness Training is really helpful in giving you confidence in communicating with deaf people.
This session will be informative and fun and you will leave with a wider awareness of deaf people in society as well as gaining some practical knowledge.
Sam Bennett
Sam brings to terptree 20 years of experience from learning BSL and 15 years Interpreting experience. Sam is now a non-practicing qualified BSL Interpreter due to a hearing loss.
She joined team terptree as a Customer & Bookings Coordinator and has now moved into her role as DCX & DEX Consultant, working with businesses to help improve their Deaf Customer Experience (DCX) and Deaf Employee Experience (DEX). This is as perfect role for Sam as she is so passionate about inclusion for all, and joining terptree in their mission to change the world for Deaf people.
Sam has experience working within the Deaf community not only in a practical way interpreting but also in administration and marketing.
